Who doesn’t love the trick-or-treat thrills of Halloween? Even brides-to-be surely have fond childhood memories of all the candies and sweets they’d collect and enjoy! So you can imagine our delight at finding this festive candy buffet over at Sweet Metel Moments, all dressed up with a fun Halloween printable collection by our dear blogger-friend, Iris! Her table of treats has the perfect combination of whimsy and stylishness that can be tailored for a bridal shower!

The secret to this table’s appeal is Iris’ adorable Halloween printables! They’re cleverly designed around a palette of orange, black and white as well as the repeating patterns of polka dots and stripes. By mixing and matching all of these, she comes up with a look that’s both playful enough for children yet chic enough for grownups, too. Tada! Instant cross-over idea for a bridal shower!
The solid black table covering (a queen-size bedsheet from Walmart, Iris reveals!) makes the bright colors really pop. While a cheery green backdrop with white polka dots adds a fresh contrast, with the only “scary” touch being haunted tree cutouts from Dollar Tree.
Now come the sweets! Who can resist those fave Halloween treats from childhood—candy corn, jack-o-lantern lollipops, cheese balls, mini Hershey’s chocolate bars, and yummy frosted cupcakes? The bride and her guests will be all nostalgic about these, while loving the coordinated toppers, wraps, bag and bottle labels, and tent cards that pull the entire look together!
Even bright orange loot bags from Michaels are decorated to match, with dotted ribbons and personalized favor tags. And Iris provides a tutorial for recreating that darling banner of paper rosette medallions fronting the sweets table.
In addition to the many charms of this display, we love how Iris intentionally kept all the elements affordable, easy to find, and readily DIYable. Not a bad thing at all for bridal shower hostesses in the midst of other wedding expenses!
