A bridal shower centerpiece doesn’t always have to be a flower arrangement. In fact, finding non-traditional elements such as candy sachets can make unique pieces for crafting a charming centerpiece. This project is ideal for a decorating a bridesmaid’s luncheon or afternoon tea party.

Classic ideas often provide the best inspiration especially when given an updated look. For creating a fun DIY centerpiece, we searched the globe for inspirational ideas and placed a modern spin on an Italian favor - popularly known as the Italian “Torte Bomboniere,” which consists of several layers of triangular-shaped cake boxes. Each of these cake boxes are stacked along side each other to form several layers of a large cake. Instead of using individual cake boxes to form the centerpiece, we made use of ordinary boxes and gave them a new life by decorating them with pretty floral sachets, ribbons, and candy.
