Honeycomb balls as decorations from cupcake toppers to chandelier to dessert table decorations.
– Cake display trimmings – Even the cutest of cakes can take some striking decorative touches to call attention to them. So why not via a hanging of honeycomb balls in varied colors and sizes, as in this example from Austrian online supplier Engel?

– Dessert table accents – Round honeycomb decorations are the most common. But there are suppliers of specialty shapes, like these darling cupcake honeycomb pieces from the Danish brand Miss Etoile (via Heart Handmade UK). Perfect for a dessert buffet!

– Cupcake toppers – As if cupcakes weren’t irresistible enough on their own, you can always add more cuteness with mini honeycomb ball toppers! This version we found via Hank and Hunt mounts the paper ball on a striped straw. But you could dress yours up to look like flowers, lollipops, even adorable animals faces, depending on the theme.

– Baby shower decorations – With the current rage for retro and vintage decor, you could try your luck finding authentic vintage honeycomb decorations. These charming Easter baskets with honeycomb ‘eggs’ featured on Such Pretty Things, for example, would be lovely for a sweet baby shower!

- DIY honeycomb decorations – If you’re the crafty type, you can also opt to DIY your own honeycomb decorations following tutorials like this one from Mr. Printables.

– Party chandeliers – How can you not feel in a party mood with multi-colored honeycomb balls hanging from the ceiling, looking like sweet candy or fun pompoms? Great chandelier tutorial here (using ready-made honeycomb paper!) from One Charming Party!
