Amaryllis dress from Claire Pettibone

So you’ve set your heart on a vintage glam bridal look? Oh, what fabulous options you have to choose from! The term “vintage glam” covers quite a range of inspirations for weddings–from Art Deco, to Gatsby, to classic Hollywood, to romantic Victorian, even to Greek goddess. All styles that can be gorgeously captured by choosing the perfect wedding dress. And what stunning examples we’ve found to inspire you from the 2014-2015 collections of renowned designers!

We love these drop-dead gorgeous bridal looks for different reasons. So we’d like to share which details have us swooning over each of these creations.

Vintage glam style wedding dress styles from cap sleeves to sheer lace to lace embroidery and beadwork.

‘Verina’ by Maggie Sottero (1) is gorgeously classic and demure in a full lace overlay, ending in a beautiful rounded train.

Carolina Herrera’s ‘Cassidy’ (2) is so softly draped and gathered, finished with dainty cap sleeves—you almost miss the deep V-neckline that adds a hint of daring.

The cloud-grey color of the ‘Vivienne’ gown from the BHLDN collection (3) creates a soft statement, while hand-embroidered silver beading graces the sweetheart bodice.

In the ’Amaryllis’ gown by Claire Pettibone (4), it’s the sheer lace over the bodice draped down to bell-shaped sleeves that gives a feminine air to this figure-hugging dress.

Hollywood-style glam makes the ‘Blithe’ gown from Pronovias (5) a definite stunner—with its full skirt in taffeta and draped V-neck bodice with a gemstone accent on one side. Love the surprise of pockets, too!

Jenny Packham’s ‘Bille’ gown (6) features a luxuriously flowing skirt and gathered bodice, accented with silver beadwork at the waist and shoulders—and a charming drop-strap detail.

From Monique Lhuillier’s Bliss collection (7) comes this light-as-a-feather creation trimmed with lace that mimics a sweet yet sexy chemise or camisole.

Which vintage-glam wedding look is the one that says “you”? Any one you choose is certain to transform you into the most dazzling bride.
