A Vintage Easter Bridal Shower Tea Party in Pink and Aqua

Easter bird's nest centerpiece

An Easter-themed bridal shower tea is definitely one of the prettiest and most joyous celebrations to host! But we propose styling it as a vintage tea party, decked out in a gorgeous springtime palette of pink and aqua with touches of green—from the table elements, to the florals, to the decorations, to the favors. As these images show, the total effect is so captivating, the bride-to-be should be absolutely thrilled!

Lovely Details for an Easter Afternoon Tea

1 – Lucky you, if you happen to have an heirloom tea set to match the lovely venue in #2 below. Perhaps something like these turquoise bone china tea cups and saucers we spotted on etsy at Nancy’s Tea Shop. Aren’t they just precious?

2 – Your tea party table is the focal point of the gathering. So set the palette of pink and aqua as in this utterly charming scene styled by Events By Heather Ham (featured on Hostess With the Mostess) with gorgeous spring centerpieces, glassware, napkin accents, even a vintage chandelier overhead.

3 – Of course, you must have a shower cake! And you can’t find one much lovelier than this rose water and pistachio creation from Lulu’s Sweet Secrets. Isn’t it gorgeous? The cake recipe sounds doable enough, but that amazing sugar rose topper is a true work of art!

4 – To give as shower favors, why not fill pretty paper cones with Easter treats—like candy eggs, perhaps? These ones we spotted on Pinterest (with credits to http://agiftwrappedlife.blogspot.com.au/) are made extra festive with glitter, paper fringes, ribbons, and flowers.

5 – In keeping with the theme, a bird’s nest centerpiece perched on a stack of vintage books (image found via Pinterest, attributed to http://georgiannalane.com/) would be just lovely! Flowers, a dainty ribbon, and decorative colored eggs complete the springtime look.

6 – Vintage Easter graphics make the sweetest tea party garland bunting! Just see this lovely set of cards strung on pastel-colored ribbon, available from the etsy shop Beehive Cottage. Perfect for a dessert table backdrop or a welcoming touch at your party entrance.

7 – We were so taken with these eggshell place cards, we just had to suggest them for this Easter tea party! Check out the so-creative tutorial on Carolyn’s Homework and see how you can easily recreate these charmers yourself.
