Perfect Details for a Sophisticated Parisian Wedding

Inspiration board for Paris wedding

1 – Start your celebration right! This white foil on black museum board custom letterpress invitation by Oblation Papers & Press is the perfect prelude to a Parisian destination wedding. Truly sophisticated!

2 – Fabulous wedding locations are legendary in major cities of the world, like Paris. You have your pick of castles, museums, wineries, chateaus, and hotels like this Hotel de Crillon. Found via a luxurious real wedding featured on Tres Sugar, the venue itself is already so gorgeous that only minimal, understated decorations are needed for a stylish wedding ceremony.

3 – This elegant table setting in amber and blush tones couldn’t be more perfect for the ultra-romantic reception we envision. Styled by Events in the City and featured on Love Luxe blog, it is just one aspect of an entire Parisian-inspired wedding shoot that is just one swoon-worthy image after another!

4 – It’s a Parisian wedding, so why not feel like a true fashionista! This stunning haute couture gown from Versace Atelier will appeal to any bride with a flair for something edgy and definitely has her own style!

5 – You’ve most likely seen this famous wedding cake creation by the Sylvia Weinstock before (image found via Wedding Tulle). But it somehow reminded us of Paris high fashion and the traditional French croquembouche all in one—executed in a mass of delicate white sugar roses!

6 – Continuing the romantic look, a beaded flower ring pillow in “French pink and champagne silk,” velvet, and tulle would be the ideal ceremony accessory! We discovered this lovely piece at Emici Bridal and knew we had to share it.

7 – No Parisian theme would be complete without the iconic macarons by Ladurée! Their website is a treasure trove of these delicate confections in an entire rainbow of colors and array of classic to exotic flavors. Your guests mustn’t leave without a favor boxful!

8 – How can you go wrong with a bridal bouquet of lush pink peonies? This particular arrangement is from a fairytale real wedding featured on The HiP (Haven in Paris) Blog—held not quite in Paris itself, but at a chateau in Burgundy. Peonies are perfect anywhere!

  1. Makes me want to hop on a plane to Paris!

  2. A Paris wedding…Or a Paris themed wedding sounds like so much fun! I have an antiques booth and a future bride was in looking for things for her reception. She said the reception was going to be Paris and world war II themed….Huh!!! I have no idea how she is going to incorporate those two?

  3. Hello Carol! Couples have such creative theme ideas nowadays, don’t they? So sweet of you to stop by and let us know you were here. 🙂
