I am having a pink, navy blue, and silver color combo for my winter wedding. Ever since seeing pink with mint green, I might just change the colors because it looks quite stunning when you add gold into it!
I’m planning on using the color pink with a dark shade of purple and then I will be using silver as highlights. We will also have lots of white because it’s going to be a winter-inspired wedding in 09′.

I so much need help picking my wedding color for my august wedding? I really wanted aqua but shopping around for wedding flowers, decorations, and the cake everyone has similar colors to aqua. And I wouldnt want it all to come together with different aquas. My fiance suggested purple but I dont like purple.. Im so confussed can u give me color suggestions and flowers to match??????
Hi Audri — We can understand the challenge of choosing a color you like, but then finding that there are too many shades of it!
One suggestion would be to go to a paint supply store and look through the “paint chips” or color swatches they give out. (Or you could even look through home decor or fashion magazines.) Find the shade of aqua you like and bring it along as your guide when you choose your wedding decorations, bridal party accessories, accents on your cake, etc.
For your wedding flowers, you could choose from all-ivory tulips, hydrangeas, calla lilies, stephanotis, etc., than have aqua ribbon wraps for the bouquet handles and aqua vases for the reception centerpieces. Hope these suggestions help! 🙂
