Weddings will always have flowers in them somehow. And when they’re part of the wedding invitation design, they can make their presence felt in such lovely ways—from subtle to striking. That’s why we couldn’t help noticing the floral-inspired invitations blooming on some sites this week. If you’re planning a spring or summer wedding, these might just be what you’re looking for!
Floral Elements in Wedding Invitations
1 – Sweet hand-painted blossoms
Another throwback effect is this floral design rendered in a watercolor look by Miss Flik. The soft pastels, the oval framing, and the hand-lettered fonts all work together so prettily.
2 – Subtle floral borders
The invitation text can be softly framed in a border of subtly printed blooms, as in this set designed by Catherine Kiff-Vozza. Lovely dove gray and blush pink combo!
3 – Laser cut blooms
This delicate technique is always a stunner. Here, Janice Paper uses it to grace the front panel of a pocket-style invitation with a garden of blooms.
4 – Retro/vintage floral banners
The 1950s look is charmingly captured by Whimsy Design Studios with a muted turquoise color and vintage-style banners of roses and ribbons. (featured on A Colorado Courtship)
5 – Flowered envelope liners
This charming Adele Suite Floral Package from Jupiter and Juno Shop hides the surprise of flowers inside the envelopes.
So, which way with flowers catches your fancy? Do leave a comment to let us know. Then let’s see each other back here next Sunday for another Wedding Week roundup!
