DIY S’mores Kit Wedding Favor Ideas

Great for a rustic woodland, fall, winter, or summer BBQ theme, we all know how popular s’mores are as treats for guests. You can easily prepare them as part of your s’mores station or as wedding favors using only a few basic materials. So what are we waiting for? Let’s see how you can craft your own s’more kits to take home and enjoy!

DIY S’mores Kit Favor Ideas in 5 Steps

Start by assembling the 3 main ingredients: chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Some brides get sophisticated with these choices like using flavored marshmallows. Be sure to purchase them in bulk as a way of saving on your budget.

Separate each ingredient in groups based on upon the number of kits you plan to make. If you plan to make 50 kits, then allocate at least 100 of each ingredient making the equivalent of a kit that contains 2 marshmallows, 2 crackers, and 2 chocolate slices.

Get your packaging lined up. You can use any of the following: clear or cello bags (easiest option), mason jars, kraft or acetate boxes, or galvanized buckets. To tie your kits together, you may need to get twine, raffia, or gingham ribbons.

Add a fun saying on a favor tag with the message of “sending you s’more love!” Or make up something unique to your wedding theme.

At the wedding reception, you can choose to display the favors as part of a s’mores table or on a favor table. You can place the completed kits in buckets, barrels, or even mini wheelbarrows. Be as creative as possible! Don’t forget to add a banner or signage for your s’mores!
