The secret lies in using it in an ingenious and stylish way. See how basic wrapping supplies can transform even the simplest gifts into mini works of art\u2014and in this case, touches of summer!<\/p>\n<h2>How to Do This Project<\/h2>\n<p><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.bellenza.com\/wedding-ideas\/slideshow\/117a-sinamay-project.html\" cellspacing=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" border=\"0\" style=\"width: 575px; height: 575px\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong> \u2013 Assemble the materials. Obtain these: a sheet of sinamay, a sheet of wrapping tissue, wooden beads, glue dots or a glue gun, raffia strings, ruler, and scissors. Many of these items should be available on the Web or at your local craft store.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hints:<br \/>\n1) In keeping with the summer wedding theme, we chose apple green sinamay and golden yellow wrapping tissue. But you can select colors to match your own wedding motif.  <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>2) The size of the sinamay and tissue paper will vary depending on the item you plan to wrap. So, be sure to measure each accordingly.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong> \u2013 Cut your sinamay sheet at least 4 inches larger all around than your sheet of wrapping tissue. Lay them flat, with the tissue underneath the sinamay. Then, center the gift item on top. If it&#8217;s in a box, position it in a diagonal fashion (here, we used a clear acetate box for demo purposes). Take the four corners of the sinamay and tissue paper, and gather them above the gift item to form a \u201cruffle\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.bellenza.com\/wedding-ideas\/slideshow\/117b-sinamay-project.html\" cellspacing=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" border=\"0\" style=\"width: 575px; height: 425px\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong> \u2013 As you can see, the sinamay extends beyond the tissue, since we purposely cut it larger. This creates a stylish two-toned ruffle for your package. Tie the present shut with the raffia strings, and attach the wooden beads at random around the package using glue dots or a glue gun.
