And she did just that with such creativity and charm, using fall colors and textures and loads of handcrafted elements we can all draw inspiration from!<\/p>\n<h2>Heartwarming Homemade Touches for a Rustic Fall Bridal Shower<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bellenza.com\/wedding-ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rusticbridalshowerfeaturede.jpg\" alt=\"Heartwarming Homemade Touches for a Rustic Fall Bridal Shower\" height=\"1041\" width=\"575\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This bridal shower was an intimate, at-home gathering that still pulled off the look of a carefully-planned and decorated event. Let\u2019s see how Heather did it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; She went with a <strong>vintage fall harvest theme<\/strong> revolving around apples. As she explains, \u201cApples are a relatively inexpensive decoration this time of year and we could go with cute little phrases like \u2018he\u2019s the apple of her eye\u2019 and \u2018he picked her, she picked him\u2026\u2019!\u201d<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; The theme also allowed her to use inexpensive <strong>fabrics <\/strong>like burlap and a red-and-cream checked cotton. Notice how she used those from the entryway vignette (a stack of white pumpkins), to ribbon ties here and there, to the \u201cFall in Love\u201d banner.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; She also used lots of <strong>organic and textured elements<\/strong>, like wooden crates and trays, bushel baskets, bundles of wheat and dried grass, and garlands of autumn leaves and faux fruits.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; A sweet addition was the <strong>\u2018guest book\u2019 of loose paper leaves<\/strong> for guests to write messages for the bride, and tiny clothes pins on standby to display the notes!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Fall Bridal Shower Dessert Table: Apple Pies &amp; Ruffle Cakes<\/h2>\n<p>Here, Heather continued the color scheme and the apple motif through to the scrumptious sweets display.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bellenza.com\/wedding-ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/rusticbridalshowerdessertta.jpg\" alt=\"Fall Bridal Shower Dessert Table with Apple Pies and Ruffle Cakes\" height=\"748\" width=\"575\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; Three <strong>mini ruffle cakes<\/strong> all frosted in white add a feminine touch to the rustic, woodsy scene. While <strong>homemade apple pies<\/strong>, both full size and single-serve, present the perfect fall dessert topped with golden crusty leaves.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; To display the goodies, notice the straw-covered crate, iron skillet, and that darling little wooden stool!<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; And to tie everything together, more fresh <strong>apples<\/strong> spilling out of a basket and more leafy garlands.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Such a wonderful setting for a special occasion in the fall.
