We\u2019re thrilled to feature this laid back bohemian-style wedding shoot with lots of fascinating details to inspire you. But what makes this even more special is that the model for the bride is a wedding stylist herself! Yes, Nicole Rene of Nicole Rene Designs<\/a> took on the invitation of fellow stylist Layla of Simply Savannah Events<\/a>\u2014then shared the lovely photos in this post <\/a>on her own blog.<\/p>\n

Although we\u2019re focusing on the decorating details for recreating this wedding look yourself, we did include a glimpse or two of Nicole in her bohemian bride finery! Come take a look.<\/p>\n

In her post, Nicole let the images captured by Alexis Sweet Photography pretty much speak for themselves. But we did study and savor the interesting details for ourselves. So we trust that what caught our eye will capture your fancy and imagination, too! Plus, you can enjoy more of this exotic shoot in the photographer\u2019s own post as well!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what we love about this shoot:<\/p>\n

  1. The beachside location<\/strong> – Somehow the sand and the wind set the perfect bohemian vibe!<\/li>\n
  2. The bridal look<\/strong> – Nicole modeled a boho \/ 1920s Art Deco ensemble, complete with a floral headpiece, strands of pearls and beads, and assorted bangles.<\/li>\n
  3. The ceremony area<\/strong> – The unique backdrop was simply a gauzy white fabric strung on 2 wooden poles, trimmed with ribbon and what look like strands of crystals. To mark the \u2018aisle,\u2019 borders of white shells and stones were laid out on the sand.<\/li>\n
  4. The Moroccan rug<\/strong> – If there\u2019s one decor element that anchored the look of this set, it\u2019s this exotic rug from Morocco.<\/li>\n
  5. Laid-back boho elements<\/strong> – Ideal for lounging around with guests were the patterned throw pillows, while ornate lanterns, candlesticks, and a lovely birdcage to hold 2 white doves completed the scene.<\/li>\n
  6. Florals and fruits<\/strong> – The bride\u2019s bouquet was a highly textured mix of traditional roses, tiny asters, thistles, feathers and strands of pearls. And a platter laden with passion fruit, dates, grapes and star fruit took center spot as an \u2018edible centerpiece.\u2019<\/li>\n
  7. The \u2018bridal toast vignette\u2019<\/strong> – A little lap table held the bottle and glasses for the wedding toast, decorated with seashells and a floral arrangement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
