An \u201cAlice in Wonderland\u201d theme for a wedding? Well, that admittedly got us \u201ccuriouser and curiouser\u201d! Susan Marie of Love the Blooms<\/em><\/strong> shared what a delight it was for her to design the florals and decorations that went into such a zany, yet whimsical wedding scene. As she described it, \u201cThe goal was to achieve a beautiful romantic look while including the peculiar elements from one of the bride\u2019s favorite movies, Tim Burton\u2019s \u2018Alice in Wonderland.\u2019 \u201d And she certainly achieved that and more!<\/p>\n

A Stunning and Stylish Alice Theme! Check it Out!<\/h2>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A soft palette of blush, pewter, and white<\/strong> with pops of red to set the tone for the table settings<\/li>\n
  2. Towering centerpieces<\/strong> featuring ornate candelabra topped with flowers and (a detail we love!) dainty tea cups seeming to float in mid-air, dangling from ribbons<\/li>\n
  3. Bejeweled dragonflies and glittery butterflies<\/strong> perched among the florals<\/li>\n
  4. Apothecary jars<\/strong> filled with the bride\u2019s favorite flowers<\/li>\n
  5. Hanging votive holders<\/strong> containing single rose buds<\/li>\n
  6. Petite flower arrangements<\/strong> in moss-filled teacups and teapots, some labelled \u201cTake me\u201d<\/li>\n
  7. A recurring theme of playing cards with the \u2018hearts\u2019 suit, used for the table numbers and menu cards<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. And a sweet showstopper of a wedding cake<\/strong>\u2014much like those topsy-turvy Mad Hatter creations but all in pink with rhinestone trimmings, plus the most clever stream of \u2018tea\u2019 made from a curling ribbon!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As Susan Marie herself put it, \u201cit was hard not to smile\u201d in a room decked out in such a whimsical scene!
