Country-style Mediterranean Charm

via Cooking Channel TV, styled by Camille Styles

Such a welcoming table we found via Cooking Channel TV, styled by Camille Styles with country-style elements you can easily replicate. Note the wooden bowls piled with fresh lemons, rattan chargers, simple plateware with turquoise napkins, and a DIY hand-painted runner. Then, for each guest, a jar of homemade marinated olives. So charming!

Greek Oasis Inspiration + DIY Dip-Dye’

Via Tanya of Dans le Lakehouse

Another rustic table setting, this time from Tanya of Dans le Lakehouse. We love how she made these bright blue DIY dip-dye napkins, inspired by a Greek oasis, as the star of the tablescape, then matched them with blue-bead napkin rings. Such sunny centerpieces, too, using lemon slices, yellow tulips, and hydrangeas. (Good news: her post is actually a tutorial for the dip-dye napkins. So give it a try!)

Pretty Porch Table Setting

Jenn of Loveland Lodge

Here, Jenn of Loveland Lodge presents a delightful porch tablescape inspired by a trip to Greece – using elements she already had, found at thrift stores, or received as presents. The result is a warmly personal look that plays on the colors of bright blue (plates and vases), crisp white (table linens), and hot pink (store-bought carnations and a potted impatiens plant). Multi-colored bead napkin rings add a hint of whimsy.

Greek-inspired in Blue and Gold

Lovely Crafty Home

Thanks to Rachael of Lovely Crafty Home, you can pick up tips on simulating a Greek look for your table as she did. She carefully sourced houseware items from her favorite outlets – a blue table cloth, a woven runner, gold chargers, blue-striped napkins, white pillar candles – added these to elements she already owned, and completed the effect with sprigs of seeded eucalyptus.

“Boho Med” – that’s what Haute Chefs LA dubbed this free-spirited but definitely chic style at their eclectic Mediterranean dinner party. Beautiful in varied shades of blue for the metal chairs, linen napkins, and drinking glasses contrasted with gold-lined cocktail tumblers and cutlery, the overall effect is both striking and serene.
