Moroccan-themed Baby Shower: Ebony of Sparkling Events
We are always on the lookout for unique and eye-catching parties to feature. So when we stumbled upon this baby shower with a stunning Moroccan theme, we knew we had to share it with you all! Even better, the mom-to-be turned out to be Ebony Sparkes, founder and managing director of Sparkling Events and Designs—a blog we’ve been following for years! This time, Ebony got to marvel over the gorgeous decorations and treats prepared for her by family and friends. Prepare to marvel, too!
Details of the Decorations
We just love how a rich and exotic atmosphere was created with a palette of jewel tones used throughout the shower decor.
- silky table linens in aqua, royal blue, and purple
- gold plate chargers and chiavari chairs
- brass Moroccan lanterns with multi-colored glass panes
- ornate candlesticks and votive holders
- colorful mini lanterns hanging from the chandelier
- organza ceiling swags suggesting a Moroccan tent
- unique arrangements of bare branches and fuchsia flowers in tall gold vases (used for the dessert table)
Sweet Treats and Shower Favors
Of course, the fabulous dessert table matched perfectly—using the same glowing colors and golden accents.
- more linens in aqua and purple with a giant ‘E’ monogram for the guest of honor
- a whimsical tiered cake in bold, bright colors plus a fun ‘Aladdin’s lamp’ topper
- an array of coordinated cupcakes, bite-size pastries, and candies presented on ornate gold-painted trays
- sweet onesie cookies decorated in purple, aqua, and gold
- treat baskets trimmed with shimmery patterned ribbons
- Moroccan-inspired bead bracelets for guest favors (to go with the henna hand tattoos that were part of the shower fun—check out the post for the pics!)
Thank you, Ebony, for sharing these special photos on your blog for all of us to be inspired by. By now, your little one is surely adding even more ‘spark’ to your home! Wishing you and your family all the best.
