Tips for DIY Spring Centerpieces with Trader Joe’s Flowers

Gorgeous Centerpieces from Grocery Store Flowers
Each of our finds presents a creative way to make the most of inexpensive grocery store blooms. Here are the tips we noted:
1 – Golden Boys and Me simply divided up bunches of assorted Trader Joe’s flowers into various clear glass vases and bottles. Then, a galvanized iron tray was used to tie the grouping of bottles together in one pretty presentation!
2 – Bunches of fresh roses and snapdragons were the choice of A Life Worth Styling for arranging in clear glass vases, trimmed with a bow made of rope.
3 – Unusual for a spring arrangement, orchids happened to be available and affordable at Trader Joe’s. So Celia Bedilia combined them with curly willow and moss to create this exotic piece!
4 – Such a sunny combination of ranunculus, daffodils, tulips and kumquats artfully arranged by Yasmine Floral Design (via Design Love Fest). Hard to imagine these were sourced from a grocery store.
5 – See how A Thoughtful Place split a $9.00 bouquet of pink gerbera daisies and assorted spring blooms into a white ceramic pitcher and two mason jars. So pretty!
6 – A neat tip from Perfectly Eventful is to fill shorter containers with voluminous flowers, like hydrangeas, for a nice full effect. Then simply add whatever is on sale at Trader Joe’s at the time, like these ranunculus, for a pop of color.
7 – Perfect for spring is the idea of combining flowers and fruits. Here, Lazy Woman created a cheery centerpiece of daffodils, tulips, lilies, irises and kumquats—all from Trader Joe’s, too!
