Spring is Calling: Favor Ideas for a Garden Theme Baby Shower!
When we think of a baby shower in the springtime, we immediately envision sunshine, the fresh outdoors, pastels and candy colors, and of course flowers, flowers everywhere! And what better way to bring all those elements together than a spring garden theme? So we did some spade work (garden theme, get it?) to find ideas for guest favors that can go from prettying up the party to actual garden use!
So Pretty and Ready for Spring!
1 – We fell instantly in love with these garden trowel favors in the prettiest floral design! Available at The Roche Shop, they would be perfect for this spring garden theme. Even if guests couldn’t bear to actually use them (they’re so pretty!), they’d make a lovely decorative accent in any home.
2 – Few things say spring as prettily as a basketful of blooms. But on closer inspection, these are DIY favor packets (the fillings can be anything you wish such as flower seeds!) all dolled up with flowery cutouts, stickers, and other embellishments by Roree Rumph of A House of Cards. She provides a link to her tutorial for the favor packets, so you can make your own!
3 – Pinwheels spinning in the breeze! That’s another adorable image of spring that you can capture and give in favor form. Our inspiration? This sweet post at Events by Shelbi Rene and styled by Jo Anne of Oh Goodie Designs that’s all about pastel colors, geometric patterns, and pinwheels. Do check it out!
4 – Candles always make popular favors. But in keeping with your garden motif, why not give them in flowery DIY votive holders like these we found on Ladies’ Home Journal.com? Each one is wrapped in a strip of fabric coated with Mod Podge, then finished with a little tag. Totally doable!
5 – How cute are these bright and cheery tissue paper flowers with lollipops as their centers? At the party, simply display them in a shiny tin bucket—like in this photo from etsy shop My Knapsack Dreams—or in a terra cotta pot to go with your garden theme. Then, guests get to “pick the flowers” as they leave the shower!
6 – This flower-filled metal watering can we spotted via Kate Landers Events is another idea we adore! It’s actually from a spring baby shower styled by Tori of Thoughtfully Simple and if you can find ones in cheery spring colors like this one, your guests are sure to love them!
7 – For something scented and pretty to give as spring favors with a garden theme, fill flower-shaped sachets from Bellenza with your favorite potpourri. Then, the sachets can be used to double up as your table decor by arranging them on the guest place settings.
