Plan a Glittery Galentine’s Birthday Party: For Girls Only!
Who’d have thought you could tweak a Valentine’s theme for a girls-only birthday bash! But why not, right? The traditional Love Day palette of red, pink and gold is definitely girly. Plus you can give it a chic spin with touches of gold, glitter and geometrics. So get ready to grab some ideas for celebrating a February birthday among your gang of BFFs—bubbling with fab and flirty Valentine fun. You can still have that romantic dinner for two with the man in your life. But for this occasion, girls rule!
Hearts and Glitter for a Galentine’s Birthday Bash
Send a sassy ‘shout out’ with party invites (6) that declare “No boys allowed!” So cute, you’’ll want to display them at the party itself, along with mini pompoms, glittered XOXO cutouts, and sequined hearts (that are actually Band-o hair accessories!).
An outdoor party setup would be perfect (weather permitting). Lay a table for six out under the trees (3) with pink crystal ware on a white tablecloth, and vases of fresh flowers on a pink striped runner. To mark off the event area, by all means have hearts! But give them a mod makeover strung on a posh party garland (5) in red and pink with gold-foil geo cutouts.
For this all-girl gathering, Valentine’s sweets are a must! Prepare stylish mini cakes (7) with gold frosting and the cutest heart toppers. And serve heart-shaped S’mores (4) with a layer of pink marble-ized marshmallows!
Finally, to toast the birthday girl, have bottles of champagne (2) on hand all glammed up with gold glitter. Along with fancy cocktail stirrers (1) made with colored gems.
Okay, so are you all giddy now about throwing that Galentine’s party for a bestie’s birthday—or maybe your own? We don’t blame you!
