Baby Glam! Coco Chanel Inspires a Chic Baby Shower!

A Coco Chanel theme for a baby shower? Certainly! Mom-to-be deserves to be pampered and honored. So why not with a stylish and sophisticated soiree inspired by the French fashion icon of the 1920s. And we have just the decorating peg to design this gathering around: chic black ribbons and bows and lustrous pearls!

Coco Chanel baby shower decorations, cupcakes, cocktails

1 & 2 These chic invitations and amazing tablescape are part of a stunning baby shower by the talented people at Pixy Studios. Simple white plates were set on a crisp white tablecloth with a table runner of black fabric and narrow white ribbon. And on each plate, a boxed favor (a pearl necklace for each guest, it turns out!) finished with a flouncy white bow! See Belle the Magazine for more black and white sophistication.

3 – Choose a sleek white cake like this one by Cake Essence and have it decorated with just a bit of piped black icing, black satin ribbon tied into a bow, and a single sugar paste anemone blossom. Mom and her guests will feel so chic!

4 – Classic rose centerpieces are just the thing. Take your cue from these beauties at a Chanel-inspired bridal shower designed by Danielle of Belleza e Luce who chose a beautiful palette of white, light pink, and black as seen in everything from the plates to the cake for the celebrant. Check out the details of this shower as featured on Baby Lifestyles!

5 – To serve as themed treats at the party or to send home as favors, how perfect would cupcakes with the Chanel insignia be? These were shared on The Cupcake Blog (attributed to Cakeybake) and we immediately thought, “Gotta suggest these!”

6- Exquisite is what came to mind when we saw these divine escort cards accented with pearls and rhinestones from The Event Essentials. View more of their stationery as part of a beautiful styled shoot shot by Hagerty Photography.

7 – This virgin cocktail drink would surely be appreciated by the mother-to-be. So easy to make! Find the recipe at Virgin Cocktails and create your own yummy refreshment.
