Up first is a pairing of Biscay Bay + Oak Buff. Perfect for the rustic-organic feel of fall, with a touch of sophistication tossed in. You’ll see what we mean in this inspiration board we’ve put together for you!
Biscay Bay + Oak Buff: A Rustic Color Pair for a Fall Wedding
From the editor:
In putting together this palette, we wanted to have a rustic look that made use of natural elements like burlap, wood, and corn. We also sought DIY-able components such as the photo display, cowboy boots that can be filled with fall blooms, and a pinwheel wreath hung on a wedding arch at the ceremony. The look and feel is relaxed, but nothing short of being chic and contemporary!
Set the rustic look for your autumn nuptials by displaying a pair of Western boots (5), along with wood pieces like recycled packing crates or fencing (3), boxes, barrels, even an amazing gypsy-style hand cart used to present the wedding cake and an array of desserts (7)!
Complement these with burlap table linens (1), baskets, twigs, straw, corn husks. Then, add touches of Oak Buff (ochre, maize, mustard) and Biscay Bay (teal, turquoise, aquamarine) for pops of brightness!
Start with the wedding invitations (6) printed in this pretty color pair. Then, think sunny bouquets (4) for the bridal ladies dressed in teal, a pinwheel wreath (2) at the ceremony, as well as pompoms and ‘billy ball’ flowers tucked in here and there.
Can’t wait to share some more delightful Fall Wedding Palettes with you. One of them might be just the one you’re looking for!
