Spring is here! And with it comes a celebration of flowers at spring weddings in all their sweetness, charm and drama! We couldn’t help but join in the season’s revelry by showcasing the fabulous floral installations that designers, planners and DIY couples have created for both ceremonies and receptions. From floral chandeliers and hanging centerpieces, to backdrops and floral arches, to some unique and offbeat ideas—get ready for some “pretty bloomin’ spectacular” inspiration!
Floral Wedding Installations: Chandeliers and hanging centerpieces
Few wedding decor pieces are as eye-catching as fresh flowers suspended en masse! They could be single blooms of assorted varieties (1) held by a wire mesh frame, or flowers in one bold color (4) hanging from a wooden plank. They could be sculpted into a giant wedding bell (3) or formed into a rustic-style wreath (6). For an outdoor setting, how charming are leafy vines formed into hoops to hold candles (5), while for an indoor reception, see the drama of a massive hanging centerpiece (2) accented with tea lights in glass globes!

Floral Wedding Installations: Backdrops and backgrounds
Flowers are the loveliest way to highlight key areas or moments of your wedding day! Talk about breathtaking with this ceremony backdrop (1) just bursting with pink blooms, or a moss-covered ombre floral wall (2) for outdoors.
Then, there’s the mod and minimalist look of single blooms and leaf fronds in test tubes (3) or a foliage-trimmed curtain (4) interspersed with succulents in glass globes—perfect for a tropical, beach or botanical-themed wedding! And for one of the sweetest backdrops we found, why not a floral vine spelling out your monogram or a special word (5)?
Floral Wedding Installations: Ceremony arches
If a backdrop isn’t quite your thing, you may opt for a floral arch to frame your ceremony photos beautifully. A spare metal form (1) can be softened with colorful bunches of blooms, or bare branches and wood-plank boxes (2) can hold cheery country-style bouquets at a ranch or woodland wedding.
If yours will be a lush garden setting, create a matching arch decked with masses of hydrangeas and hanging single-bloom leis (3). Or craft a ‘birch, blooms and bells’ arch (4) that will be a quaint conversation piece on its own!
Floral Wedding Installations: Unique and Offbeat Ideas
Now, for floral installations that are truly different, see what we found! A ‘hippie van’ overgrown with flowers (1), oversize initials encrusted with blooms (2), a canopy of single flowers suspended from a bare branch (3) to mark the ceremony entrance, a vintage wallpaper wall (5) trimmed with flowers that would be great for photo-taking, and a full floral garland (4) setting off a rustic wood plank wedding bar!
