Wedding Week: Kiddie Cuteness on Your Big Day

Kiddie bags with crayons as favors for children

Can you believe September is here?! It’s the start of a new week and a new month, and so we’ve got a fresh focus for our “Wedding Week” this time: children at weddings! Some of our favorite blogs happened to feature these delightful kid-related images and ideas that we know you’ll enjoy. From florals to favors to fun, here’s our roundup of wedding inspiration from the week just past!

Activities and favors for kids at weddings

1 – How to keep kids entertained (read “behaved”) at a wedding? The key seems to be: Be prepared. Take a look at these appealing goodie bags, for instance, from My Own Labels. Much like a party loot bag, they’re filled with jumbo crayons, a journal personalized with each child’s name, and a packet of munchies—all finished with such fun, colorful labels. The kiddos will probably be asking when the next wedding “party” will be!

2 – Oh, what a charmer she is! This darling flower girl actually steals the attention from the gorgeous purple and orange nosegay she’s holding! And as you’ll see from the entire wedding we found via A Lowcountry Wedding, this bold palette was carried throughout—from the florals to the bridal party to the reception place settings.

3 – Over the summer months, lawn games became quite a hit at outdoor weddings. For this little lady at a real wedding featured on Rose and Birch, it was a game of croquet. Something that guests of all ages can try their hand at! Plus, there’s a lot more rustic DIY prettiness throughout this wedding. So visit the full post and enjoy!

4 – At this whimsical woodland wedding showcased on Love My Dress, the kiddie guests were treated to their very own “I Spy” game—courtesy of the groom himself. It included a disposable camera for each child, along with a list of snapshots for them to capture while at the wedding. What a thrill for the little photographers!

5 – And at the same wedding, the bride’s lovely little sister donned her own floral crown and carried a carved heart-shaped sign down the aisle in place of a bouquet or basket. So sweet!

Till our next Wedding Week, then, have a great 7 days ahead!
