Make a Festive Holiday Toast with these Cocktails!

Holiday cocktails with champagne, prosecco, and cranberry

1 – If it’s Christmasy you want, then these Cherry Thyme Cocktails are it! The bright red drink with the sprig of thyme as garnish fit the traditional yuletide palette perfectly. We just wish we could share the recipe for this from Baked Bree, whose pin caught our eye. (Calling, Bree, your recipe please?)

2 – A wintertime take on a classic favorite is this Icy Holiday Margarita we found on Recipe.com. Cranberry and raspberry juice provide color, while orange and melon liqueur and tequila give it its kick! And in place of salt, that’s decorating sugar on the glass rim.

3 – We all know the popular cosmopolitan cocktail. Well, here’s a cheery variation called a Snowflake Cosmo! Fairmont Hotels and Resorts site Everyone’s an Original has this on its drinks list—made with their house mulled cranberry juice, vodka, fresh lime juice, and cranberries for garnish. Treat guests to a round…or two!

4 – Presenting Pomegranate Sparklers, found via Recipe.com again! Don’t these look stylish served in tall elegant flutes? The bright red of pomegranate seeds adds that festive touch to your choice of sparkling wine (Prosecco, Asti Spumanti, or brut champagne) with a bit of brandy. Enjoy!

5 – Homemade liqueur is the secret to this bubbly Cranberry Liqueur and Champagne Cocktail by Creative-Culinary.com. We love the very helpful recipe and tips provided (making it sound a lot less intimidating!). To serve, just pour some of the “liqueured” berries into chilled champagne glasses and add champagne, Prosecco, or Spanish Cava.

6 – These festive White Chocolate Peppermint-Mallow Martinis, featured on Pillsbury.com, definitely say Christmas! But don’t let that sweet holiday look deceive you. Each glass combines vodka, peppermint schnapps, and white chocolate liqueur—with marshmallow topping on the rim and a sprinkling of crushed peppermint. Ho-ho-ho indeed!
