We’ve all watched ombre sweep the wedding world in the past year or so. And what a visual treat it’s been! But while most applications have been for dramatic effect with bold, intense colors, we have a special soft spot for those ombre treatments using pastels.
So in honor of this sweet season of spring, we put together an array of wedding party decorating ideas showcasing a color motif you’ve just got to love: gradations of pastel colors from aqua to yellow, with sea green in between. If you’re in love with color, you can also add a hint of pink! So cool, light, airy, and fresh! Happy springtime, everyone.

So glad you noticed, HiLLjO! It was actually the cake and the dress that set us off on the quest to gather pics in that pretty palette. Happy Easter!
That cake is absolutely beautiful and I absolutely love these colors! Makes me want to have another wedding to throw a beautiful party using this color palette (with the same groom of course, ha!)
How pretty! This would be equally great for a summer wedding because it is so colorful.
Hi again, Iris! Yes, isn’t this color combo so appealing? You can always throw a fun summer party (instead of a 2nd wedding, ha-ha!) using this palette! 🙂
Hi, Susan. Definitely, this palette would be lovely for summer, too! Colorful, yet cooling — a great way to counter the summer heat. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
